Reiki is an energy healing modality developed in 1922 in Japan by Mikao Usui. The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words: Rei means “Higher power” and Ki is “Life force energy.” Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy. A Reiki practitioner acts as a bridge for life force energy to work through them to assist others in releasing energetic blockages.
As an energy healing practitioner, I tap into your energetic field (chakras, meridians, auric layers) through the use of “hands-on” and “hands-off” healing. Some of the benefits of a Reiki energy healing session are that it can aid in deep relaxation, help reduce stress, ease pain, assist in the body’s natural healing processes, and develop emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
