Over the past couple of years I've have made an effort towards a healthier lifestyle. That includes both what I'm putting into my body and what I'm physically doing with it. Here are a few of my favorite products that I use on a regular or daily basis!
These vitamins are awesome! They are vegetarian and are made from raw whole foods. They also include live probiotics and enzymes to keep your digestive system happy.
I especially like that since they are made from food you can take them on an empty stomach so perfect for those of us with sensitive stomachs in the mornings.
You are instructed to take 2 small capsules twice a day. I do at breakfast and dinner.
Finding a good protein powder doesn't have to be hard! A lot of people cringe thinking the taste is chalky and terrible but I stumbled across this one on accident and have been using it faithfully ever since.
I mix a scoop with about 12oz of whole milk and it literally tastes like a milkshake. I typically will follow up my yoga workouts with a shake to help build muscle or on those days where I'm meatless to ensure that I'm getting enough protein in my diet.
I also throw a scoop into my smoothies for extra flavor and protein!
One scoop is packed with 25 grams of protein and 160 calories. Love this stuff!
The key to getting a yummy protein shake is to ensure that is mixed well and free of powdery chunks. Using a Blender Bottle will make this possible.
Just simply pour in your liquid (I use milk), and add a scoop of protein powder, and shake. The ball will act like a whisk and mix everything together. A blender on the go!
4. Yoga Mat
Yoga. Yoga. and more Yoga. If you've been reading VanessaMichele for awhile I'm sure you know about my obsession with yoga. It's such a fun workout that can be both challenging and relaxing in the same session.
You can find a yoga mat just about everywhere these days. I picked mine up from TJ Maxx for about 6 bucks. It came with a strap so I can just throw it on my back and head out to a class.
Free weights& Kettlebells& Barbells.
Weights will be your best friend for at home fitness. I love using them for my squats or an intense yoga workout. They're inexpensive and have the power to transform a workout.
