2015 in Review with a Leap into 2016
I am grateful for the people who pushed me away, the situations that broke me down and the days when I didn't know if I would make it to tomorrow. My darkest moments created the light within me today.
As the end of the year concludes and I'm preparing my goals for 2016 I can't help but to reflect back on all of the things that occurred this year.
2015 was a roller. coaster. For starters, I brought in the year kind of shaky. Dec 31 2014 I spent the entire day in tears. I had just turned down a job offer which was one of the hardest decisions in my life and I essentially quit my current job without another one lined up. Over the course of the year I picked up and moved my life THREE times, I traveled to Paris, Rome and Hawaii, I won basically a "lifetime" supply worth of hair products from Creme of Nature and the list goes on.
There were beautiful moments of creating memories like the 7/11 video with my closest friends and ugly moments where I was on the kitchen floor of my kitchen taking shots to numb the pain at 4am.
From the tears as a result of frustration to the tears from laughing so hard, I can't help but think how 2015 was a monumental year for me personally.
The month of December has pretty much been composed of a lot of goal planning and preparation for the new year. I have my MytaughtYou Journal flooded with goals and plans in the first few pages.
Some of which includes:
- Learning to speak conversational Spanish
- Running my first 5k (non stop haha)
- Paying off a 3rd of my debt
- Volunteering at least once a month
- Upgrading my DSLR
- Make it to 8k subscribers on YouTube
- Being intentional and the list goes onnnnnnnn. 3 pages worth to be exact and a plan of attack.
Ultimately making it my #GloUpYear.
I will do monthly checkins in my journal and take serious inventory on my 27th Bday (personal new year).

I don't know what 2016 has in store for me but what I do know that is I'm going at it full speed and am going to hold that momentum throughout the year. It will be my year of Fulfillment. I've come too far to give up now!
I'm bringing in 2016 in NYC with one of my best friends and I wouldn't have it any other way!
